Next up in our Community Connection series, we welcome Candace Perreault! Candace shares her experience co-founding Rock the Spectrum in addition to her family’s experience in the Inclyousion Sports program.

We are thrilled to introduce you to our next guest, Dr. Giancarlo Fusco, who shares his experience with supporting families and children at the Integrated Center for Child Development (ICCD).

Meet Lisa, who has been working in the field supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be active and engaged within her community since 1984!

As many communities prepare for elections this Spring, you may be wondering who and what is on your local ballot. Voting in local elections is critical, particularly to ensure adequate representation of community demographics, yet according to the National Civic League, “only 15 to 27 percent of eligible voters cast a ballot in their local election”. This results in an unrepresentative and small group of residents deciding how local governments distribute services and spend their budget (New York Times).
